Heather + John | The Washington at Historic Yellow Springs Wedding, Chester Springs PAIt's not very often that we meet our couples for the very first time on their wedding day... but that's exactly how it went with Heather & John! I had spoken with Heather a few times over the phone and from the very beginning, I knew they would be just wonderful to work with. She had this easygoing, roll with the punches kind of vibe that made it so delightful to talk with her. The day started off with a bit of showers, but cleared right up for their lovely outdoor ceremony in "The Ruins" at The Washington at Historic Yellow Springs. They joined their family and friends at cocktail hour to celebrate and listen to one of John's favorite musicians, Tommy Conwell. This lead to one of my personal favorite moments of the day... In the midst of all the talking and celebrating, I looked over and watched them dancing and smiling with each other like no one else was around. What a perfect depiction of true love. Congratulations Heather & John! We loved being a part of your day and are so happy for you!
Their favorite part of the day...

Extra info on the impromptu outdoor dance amongst our guests. I found Heather inside as I was getting a drink and got her a mojito. When I gave it to her she said "I haven't even been outside to see Tommy". I said "Take my hand and keep walking no matter who tries to stop you to talk". We got outside and the next song Tommy played was "I Knew The Bride When She Used to Rock & Roll". That became our unofficial first dance and was what you saw. And it was one of my favorite moments of the evening!!
